What does wound treatment involve?
The appropriate course of wound care will vary according to each patient’s specific injury. Some lacerations require stitches, which our professionals can provide at STAT MED Urgent Care, while other cases may only require bandaging. For every patient, however, properly cleaning the wound and preventing infection is key. If you have a wound that cannot be easily cleaned or is showing signs of infection – such as redness, swelling, or pus – it is important to promptly visit us for treatment. We know how to ensure a wound is clean and treat infections, if necessary.
