We are seeking both part-time and full-time Medical Assistants to work alongside our dedicated team of health care providers in a busy Urgent Care environment.
This job requires the applicant be able to offer great attention and care to each and every patient. The Urgent Care setting is a unique environment offering a wide variety of treatments and experiences. To be effective, you must work well under pressure, communicate effectively (verbally and in writing), multitask, possess exceptional listening skills, have decent computer skills and be the face of the practice.
What to expect in your role as MA and what’s required to be successful:
Front office responsibilities: A warm and bright personality, customer service experience a bonus, answer phones, perform patient intake, handle patient discharge, schedule referrals, have above average typing skills, be comfortable with EMR systems and problem solve.
Patient Care: Assist doctors, room patients, manage patient throughput, be proficient with taking vitals, give injections, recover lab specimens, draw blood, be comfortable with all age ranges of patients, have a command of medical terminology, interested in learning new things everyday and provide a First Class healthcare experience for all those you care for.
2 years of work experience as an MA
High School Graduate
This position is part time and the pay rate is very competitive for the medical industry.
